Head of Finance

  • Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the entire Finance department, including establishing an appropriate departmental structures to ensure that functions and responsibilities of the department are being carried effectively and efficiently.
  • To manage the full spectrum of finance functions for companies and funds such as, monthly financial and management accounts, yearly audited accounts including analyzing trends, costs and revenues, preparation of budgets / forecasts, taxation, analyzing variances and managing daily cashflows and payments.
  • To liaise with external and internal stakeholders, such as auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, trustees.
  • Providing senior management with advice on the financial implications and regulatory requirements of the funds under management
  • Initiates and recommends various measures to management to meet financial objective(s)
  • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Enforce and ensure effective internal control procedures
  • Participate in board meetings, management meetings for review of business plans & strategies, and other internal meetings as required.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor in Accountancy and a professional qualification i.e. ICAEW, MACPA, ACCA or equivalent. Member in MIA.
  • Strong operational expertise and knowledge on investment and fund administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience including significant experience across unit trust & equity operations, fund administration or fund accounting
  • A general understanding of private equity fund/entities and structure products as well as alternative investments; strong familiarity with such structures is considered a major plus
  • Possess good supervisory, planning, organizing and leadership skills
  • Possess good knowledge of accounting principles and standards

  

 

Personal / Private Wealth Managers / Financial Planners

Responsible to actively solicit and drive sales and achieve business KPI. Manages and support clients’ investment portfolio. 

  • Requirements

  • Possess relevant licensing qualification with relevant regulators.
  • Preferably with minimum 3 years experience in related industry. 
  • Good networking /clientele base is an advantage.

  

Head of Sales and Marketing 

  • Responsibilities:

  • He / She will lead and be responsible for the sales team as head; the key person in attaining new businesses, managing existing portfolios, increasing revenues and retaining and developing strong clients’ relationships.
  • Lead the team to achieve sales target, objectives and productivity goals.
  • Identify potential clients, lead generating opportunities.
  • Assist in planning, organising and implementation of sales programmes to meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets assigned.
  • Participate in presentations and meetings as and when required. 
  • Motivating the team members with guidance, coaching and mentoring.
  • Maintain reporting on individual and team performance against plan on daily/weekly/monthly basis. 
  • Key involvement in recruitment process inclusive of assessing candidates at staff selection and placement on the panel at face-to-face interviews. 
  • Assisting the management team in developing and delivery of staff induction as well ongoing training.

  • Job Description

  • Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as required

  • Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • 3 years minimum web programming experience, including .NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, HTML, XML, Javascript, PHP, Flash
  • Good working experience with relational database systems such as Oracle, MySQL or MSSQL and possess knowledge of MS Windows web server
  • Knowledge of security, desktop application, mobile applications and hardware technical knowledge will be an advantage

  

IT Programmer

  • Job Description

  • To design, develop, test and implement new application.
  • To analyse and enhance the existing and new system for further improvement to meet business requirement.
  • Research best practices and determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to ensure quality deliveries.
  • Communicate and work closely with Project Manager and team members with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead and guide the development team in all phases of SDLC.
  • Responsible for functional, technical specification and operation documentation.
  • Provide system support and maintenance on production systems.
  • Assist in other application software maintenance, support and backup.
  • Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of web programming experience, including C#, ASP.NET, Javascript, Angular JS, WebAPI, MVC, Entity Framework, .NET Core 2.0 and above.
  • Good working experience with relational database systems such as Oracle and MSSQL.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows web server, security, mobile applications and technical knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Independent and highly proactive with good problem solving and analytical skills.

    

Executive (Operation) 

  • Responsibilities:

  • Able to handle part/full stream of operations such as assist in preparing and update the funds’ cash flow, registration of the funds’ assets such as money market, bond and securities for fund valuation
  • Assist in Operations and Systems and perform day-to-day operations duties such as subscription, transfer, redemption, switching and others as required in the scope of administration services provided to clients.
  • Any other duty as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/management. 
  • Requirements

  • At least a Diploma/Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance.

HR Manager 

  • Responsibilities:

  • Management of human resources for the Company on recruitment and staff movement. Handling hiring process, including advertisement placements, sourcing and interviewing.
  • Review and update the Staff Manual and all HR forms/documents of the company to ensure that it meets the requirements of Employment Law & require SOP
  • Conduct orientation and induction for new staff, update management on staff movement and preparing org chart.
  • To manage payroll system, staff benefit, yearly performance and appraisal.
  • Manage deployment of HR services delivery, systems and work tools utilization to streamline work processes across functions in efficient and scalable manner
  • Drive, together with line manager, employee engagement initiatives to increase employee engagement, performance, retention and training environments. To implement training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs;
  • To handle disciplinary matter including staffs counselling, grievances handling, domestic inquires & termination process & other industrial relation procedures in compliance with local Labour Law.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the superior/management from time to time.
  • Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource / Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Knowledge and experience in human resource, min 5 -7 years of Human Resource management experience
  • Strong leadership skills, team player with excellent abilities to work with all levels
  • Able to adapt to fast pace working environment • Excellent command of English (both oral and written)

    

HR Executive

  • Responsibilities:

  • Preparing any letter, newsletter, memo, certify employee letter and testimonial as when required.
  • Prepare payroll and statutory payment, yearly performance & appraisal.
  • Assist on hiring process and advertisement arrangement. Assist on sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating others and employment negotiations.
  • Liaising with HRDF on training grant application and training submission.
  • To carry out any other ad hoc duties and job function instructed by HOD or Management.
  • Requirements

  • Educational background Diploma and above with relevant HR Management & Administration
  • Experience working in Financial industry are preferable
  • Able to communicate in English and Mandarin effectively.

Product Development Manager/Executive

  • Responsibilities:

  • Help coordinate the development of product/funds – from initiation to development and eventual launch
  • Work closely with other departments in coordinating and ensure successful launching of products/funds.
  • Maintain the necessary documents, checklists, manual in relation to product development department 
  • Help improve process flow for product development
  • Requirements

  • Possess good planning, organising and follow up skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with experience in Unit Trust industry
  • Experience in the Unit Trust product development is an added advantage

    

Private Equity Manager

  • Responsibilities:

  • Help identify any potential investments in the private equity space or other special projects like structured investments
  • Conduct the necessary analysis and due diligence on the target investments
  • Provide recommendation, relevant product and corporaste structuring required for product engineering and improvement
  • Work closely with other departments in coordinating and ensure successful launching of products/funds.
  • Maintain the review and monitoring of the target investments and funds.
  • Requirements

  • Independent and relevant experience in the private equity/investment banking industry
  • Knowledge of foreign markets are an added advantage.
